Yamaha's Valentino Rossi is making miracles with his Aragon comeback, missing only his home round at Misano after breaking his tibia and fibula.
The nine-time World Champion assessed the day's running - affected by varying degrees of adverse weather - after riding his M1 for the first time following the crash.
"I’m not so bad, I am quite happy because I don’t feel a lot of pain now so the leg is good and it is good to see also." Said the Doctor
"I feel comfortable on the bike, I don’t have a particular problem – I feel a bit of pain, but not too much."
"For sure in the wet it is a bit easier because you don’t have to push to the maximum, so I am very curious to understand my condition in the dry, but I hope for tomorrow to be better because we have to work on the bike so I can understand if I can be competitive.
"Today was good. Bad conditions because it always rained just before the start, but there was not a lot of rain, so half-and-half, meaning it was not so easy."
