Misano Moto2 FP1

Much like his brother, Alex Marquez had a weekend to forget at Silverstone. While leading, the Spaniard suffered a small lowside which crushed his chances, but he remounted and still finished in the points (albeit, not many). So Marquez is out to make amends in Misano, and that's what he did in FP1. Although he suffered a huge highside which saw him being stretchered off to the medical centre, he still finished the session on top, two tenths clear of his team mate Franco Morbidelli and Dominique Aegerter. There were a number of crashes during the session, including Lorenzo Baldassari, Jorge Navarro and Xavi Vierge. Top ten: 1. Alex Marquez - (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) - 1:38.205 2. Franco Morbidelli - (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) - +0.208 3. Dominique Aegerter - (Kiefer Racing) - +0.333 4. Tom Lüthi - (CarXpert Interwetten) - +0.545 5. Takaaki Nakagami - (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) - +0.576 6. Hafizh Syahrin - (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) - +0.671 7. Mattia Pasini - (Italtrans Racing Team) - +0.703 8. Lorenzo Baldassarri - (Forward Racing Team) - +0.766 9. Fabio Quartararo - (Pons HP 40) - +0.822 10. Miguel Oliveira - (Red Bull KTM Ajo) - +0.824
