Max Verstappen has completed the second and final day of FIA public service, given after pushing Esteban Ocon in Brazil last year.

The Dutchman joined the stewards for what he described as a "constructive" day at the Marrakesh ePrix last month and on Sunday, went to the FIA International Stewards Programme in Switzerland.

"He took part in a number of the interactive case study sessions, which involved considering an incident, deliberating with the stewards and deciding an appropriate penalty – activities which are in line with the educational approach taken by the FIA in this matter," his official website explained.

Verstappen's tendency to criticise every stewards' decision that goes against him was the premise for the FIA focusing on this area for his punishment.

And having had his eyes opened by the day at the Formula E race, the Red Bull driver again showed a greater appreciation for the job they do after his day in Geneva.

"We are doing our job on the track, trying to get the best out of the race, and it's clear that the stewards are doing their job to find the best way to reach a fair decision", he commented.

"It's been a good lesson and I've learned a lot, both in my day in Marrakesh, which I really enjoyed and which gave me a good understanding of the stewards, and now here – I think it's also good to be a part of this event."
