Robert Kubica has slammed the state of his Williams car on the final day of pre-season testing.
The Pole finished over a second slower than the next best team and spent much of the afternoon conducting pit-stop practice as he amassed 90 laps in total.
However, on a week when the British team had been making progress with over 400 laps completed, it, unfortunately, ended on a low note.
“We had some issues,” Kubica told RaceFans.net. “Unfortunately the car was not representative to what it should be and this had a big impact on our test, our running programme today.
“All the information was misleading and some way also was difficult to get some information, any information for Australia.”
It is understood parts on the Williams car had degraded through the extreme distances covered in previous days and therefore meant they were not producing accurate information for the team back in the garage.

Looking forward, however, Kubica wasn't completely doom and gloom.
“First of all we have to solve our issues,” he said outlining the next steps before Melbourne. “I think there is no point us talking about upgrades if we have to still recover [from] our problems.
“Anyway when the car was, let’s say, in proper configuration, which unfortunately it wasn’t today, the feeling was not bad.
“But I think performance-wise first you have to solve the issues then, think about performance otherwise it’s confusing,” he concluded.
