Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto insists the next race in Canada doesn't equate to the "last hope" for the team's season.
Sebastian Vettel was the man to break Mercedes' run of 1-2 finishes after being promoted to second place following Max Verstappen's penalty in Monaco.
And there is optimism that the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, where the German won last year, will better suit the Scuderia thanks to its long straights.
"The race in Canada is not the last [hope] this season. It is necessary to keep getting better with each Grand Prix," Binotto said on Sunday.
"We have developed a programme that will solve problems that have arisen this year. The hard work is underway in Maranello."

That being said, the current weakness in the corners is set to continue in Montreal as development on the next batch of upgrades continues.
"The cars will be the same as in Monaco, the only thing we can do is prepare as well as possible," the Ferrari boss added.
"As I said, this was not the last race of the season. I think we will be in better shape in Canada than in Barcelona, but for now, Mercedes is the strongest and the best car."
