Mick Schumacher has a more measured, studious approach to racing compared to the instinctive nature of Max Verstappen, junior motorsport team owner Fritz van Amersfoort has claimed.
The Dutchman has worked with both drivers as they made their way up the ladder with the current Red Bull man driving for his team in European Formula 3 in 2014 before Schumacher raced with him in German F4 a year later.
Since then, the 19-year-old son of seven-time F1 champion Michael has gone on to success winning the European F3 series this year with Prema and is tipped to step up to F1 in the coming years.
"There are many racing drivers who believe they need to do everything their way and Mick has always shown that he wants to learn," Van Amersfoort said in an interview with Germany's Sport1.
"Mick is a racing guy who works a lot, he's not as crazy as Max. Mick uses his head, his strength is that he wants to - and does - win races with his head.
"He probably learned from his father that in racing you cannot just drive, you also have to work hard. That's why he is where he wants to be now."

Another thing Schumacher is being told is to take his time in making his way to F1, with a year in F2 expected in 2019. Advice that he is taking on board.
"Am I ready for F1? I prefer to move forward gradually, step by step, preparing really well," he said after winning the F3 title at Hockenheim last month.
