2008 125cc World Champion Mike Di Meglio has taken FIM Enel MotoE World Cup E-Pole honours at the Austrian Grand Prix after sticking in a 1:35.182 to place his EG 0,0 Marc VDS Energica Ego Corsa just 0.011 ahead of second-placed Xavier Simeon, with the rain staying away to allow the full spectacle of E-Pole to take place.

After setting the pace in FP1 at the Austrian Grand Prix, FIM Enel MotoE World Cup standings leader Niki Tuuli went over half a second quicker in the afternoon to sit 0.620 clear of second fastest Mattia Casadei, with Bradley Smith just 0.001 further back in P3.
