Racing Point launched their first Formula 1 car at the start of the Toronto International Autoshow on Wednesday.

The unveiling marks the start of a new era for the former Force India team, following their takeover by a Canadian consortium led by billionaire Lawrence Stroll last summer.

Despite only registering points attained after the Belgian Grand Prix, the Silverstone-based outfit still recovered to finish seventh in the Constructors' standings.

But now, with a solid financial base, the immediate ambition will be to return to the fourth place they achieved in 2016 and 2017 and eventually hope to target the top three teams in the future.

The team also welcomes a new title sponsor in SportBesa, joining BWT and resulting in the new pink and blue livery that adorned the 2018 chassis on display.

As for the line-up, Sergio Perez remains for the sixth consecutive season and will have his third different teammate in that period as Lance Stroll moves across from Williams.
