Williams has offered a first look at their actual 2019 car, the FW42, after publishing a number of renderings via Twitter.

The Grove-based team conducted a launch earlier this week using last year's chassis to unveil their new title sponsor ROKiT and an overhauled livery following five years of the Martini stripes.

Delays in production, however, have meant Williams had to cancel a planned shakedown of the FW42 and there is uncertainty as to whether it will be ready for the start of pre-season testing on Monday.

The images show Williams converging more in line with most teams on the grid with small sidepod intakes and the use of the crash structure around it for aerodynamic purposes.

Much of the rest of the car appeared fairly standard though, so we'll have to see it in the flesh before making too many assessments on whether Williams can make some progress.

For this season, the team also has an all-new driver line-up with Robert Kubica teaming up with Mercedes junior and F2 champion George Russell.
