The Rich Energy saga continues, with now-former CEO William Storey blasting Haas after his termination.

On Tuesday, Formula Money reported the company had changed its name to 'Lightning Volt' with a tweet from the company Twitter account saying Storey had sold his stake to a third party "in disgust at the conduct of duplicitous minority stakeholders".

It didn't end there, however, as a tweet from Storey himself appeared to blame Haas in part for his departure.

"Lobbying for the removal of the CEO, largest shareholder & founder of your title partner is repudiatory breach @HaasF1Team. Mr Storey was also personal guarantor of the contract. It is like @rich_energy seeking to remove Gene Haas! Amidst the noise let's get real."

This was after Storey had mocked the early double retirement of both Haas cars at the British Grand Prix, picturing himself driving a milk float with a comment "good start boys".

In response to that team boss Guenther Steiner told RaceFans: “I don’t really care about that stuff.

“If somebody gets on Twitter you know there is a point where it’s like: I’m over 50 years old, I’m not in kindergarten anymore.

“There is more problems than that for him to be honest, he should focus on that and not on how we start.”

More will undoubtedly follow...
