Honda rider Dani Pedrosa had a tough race at Misano, struggling to get temperature in the tyres in the colder and wet conditions on Sunday.

But the three-time World Champion managed to bring it home and stay on despite feeling like he was riding on ice, taking another couple of points.

Now it’s MotorLand Aragon, and back on home turf. Pedrosa has won there, in 2012, and had some good podium results – including a stunning duel against Valentino Rossi in 2015 that he went on to win and take second.

That makes for good reading as the 'Baby Samurai' gears up to get back on his incredible mid-season podium run.

"It was a disappointing weekend in Misano two weeks ago but we’ve already put it behind us and are looking forward to the next race in Aragón." Said the Spaniard

"We know that we can be much faster if we are able to have positive practice sessions, finding a good setup for our bike and making the tyres work as best as possible for us."

"I really enjoy going to Aragón and I’m looking forward to racing in front of my fan club and my home crowd. I hope the weather will be kind to us and I can be in the battle for the podium again!"
