Moto3 Brno: Championship leader Mir leads the way in FP2

Championship leader Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) led the way in FP2, after stealing the top spot in the closing minutes. Tim Georgi (Freudenberg Racing Team) sat in the top spot for the majority of the session with a one and a half second lead, despite a crash early on in the session.

But in the final minutes, Mir, Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0), Adam Norrodin (SIC Racing Team), Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Manuel Pagliani (CIP) jumped in front of Georgi, leaving him in sixth overall.

Even though the rain had physically stopped, the track was still wet. A drying line seemed to be appearing towards the end of the session.
