Pramac Racing rider Scott Redding had a difficult three days of testing at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia, as the second test of the year saw the Brit struggling with stability and getting his Ducati GP16 to turn.

Just missing out on a 1:29 laptime with a best of 1:30.005, the youngest ever 125GP winner found more issues in Australia than Sepang, but focuses on the positives – with track time left before lights out in Qatar and every issue solved also providing useful information for both pre-season and race weekends.

"Today we worked a bit more on the electronics side. It was quite difficult – some things were better but we struggled a lot with bike stability." Said Redding.

"We need a little bit more to help the bike turn because with the stability being less I found it hard to control the bike. So we’re looking to work on other areas to improve."

"It’s been a difficult test. From Sepang we’ve had a few issues coming here." He added "Let’s see – it’s better to have these problems now than at race weekends, so if we can fix these issues now we’ll know what to do if they come back. It’s all part of the working game, at the moment."
