Fresh from clinching victory in the gruelling Dakar Rally for the first time in January in association with Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa, Overdrive Racing has entered three Toyota Hiluxes in the Manateq Qatar Cross-Country Rally.
The world’s only snow and ice baja “Russia – Northern Forest 2019” took place in Karelia from 15 to 17 February; it was the 1st round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas and the 1st round of the Russian Cross-country Championship. 44 participants from 15 countries went to the start, 37 crews finished.
The Qatar Cross-Country Rally has attracted a quality international field of the world’s leading drivers, who will do battle across the length and breadth of the State of Qatar at the opening round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies next week (February 21-26).
