Dan Ticktum put on a Monza masterclass to clinch a comfortable second win of the season in the Formula 2 Sprint Race, finishing nearly 4s ahead of Callum Ilott, who retrieved the Championship lead from Robert Shwartzman.
DAMS’ Jüri Vips topped his first Formula 2 session in a long-run dominated Free Practice at Mugello, beating out Luca Ghiotto by less than a tenth of a second, with Felipe Drugovich taking third place.
It was a case of seven times lucky for Mick Schumacher, who has blown the drivers’ title fight wide open with his first victory of 2020, and his first ever in a Feature Race.
