Antonio Felix Da Costa has ended the final practice session at the extended Berlin layout ahead of today’s race.

The Formula E Champion was one of the last drivers to set a qualifying run during practice and the Portuguese driver set a 1.15.653 to beat Nyck De Vries in the Mercedes. The Dutch driver continues to show that the Silver Arrows cars have the pace the race at the front.

De Vries set a 1.15.687 to finish second ahead of Sebastien Buemi in third. Lucas Di Grassi had a strong session for Audi as the season four champion was two-tenths of a second off the lap time set by Da Costa.

Stoffel Vandoorne was fifth fastest in the second Mercedes ahead of Dragon’s Nico Muller in sixth. The Dragon team have shown flashes of brilliance in practice, but have not emulated their performance in the qualifying session.

Oliver Rowland was seventh in the second Nissan ahead of Alex Lynn in the Mahindra in eighth. Maximilian Gunther who topped the opening practice session finished in ninth ahead of Neel Jani in the Porsche who has had two strong practice sessions in what could be his last couple of races with the team.

Two-time Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne was unable to match his teammate’s (Da Costa) lap in practice and he finished in 13th and Tom Blomqvist didn’t hook his lap together in the jaguar and finished in 24th.
