Mexican driver Noel León has been confirmed with PREMA Racing for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season, and he’s eagerly anticipating what he hopes will be a landmark year.
After wrapping up his rookie season in Formula 3, León is already focused on 2025, which introduces an all-new F3 car model. “I’m thrilled to sign with PREMA Racing for next year,” León shared.
“It’s an amazing career opportunity, and I’m incredibly thankful to Rene and my sponsors for making this happen.”
León highlighted PREMA’s competitive edge in Formula 3, looking forward to kicking off what he called an exciting new era.
“With the new car, next season is going to be thrilling. I can’t wait to start,” he added.
León participated in post-season testing with PREMA at Jerez and Barcelona.
Despite illness slowing him at Jerez, he bounced back with a top-10 time in Barcelona, “PREMA has been incredibly welcoming, and I already feel at home with the team,” he said. “Jerez was challenging, but I felt much more comfortable in Barcelona, and we’ve already started work for next season.”
León’s consistency, especially in the second half of his rookie season, helped him secure 10th place in the 2024 Drivers’ Championship, with four podiums and 79 points.
For 2025, he’s determined to build on that performance and aims to compete for the title.
“Our second half of the season was really strong,” León reflected. “We were fighting for podiums and pole positions. Now, the goal is to compete for the Championship.
The new F3 era will make it challenging, but I’m ready to work hard with PREMA.”
With the 2024 season now concluded, León’s focus shifts to winter preparations and maintaining peak performance through the break.
He plans to race in the Macau Grand Prix again, aiming to end the year on a high note.
“Macau was an incredible experience last year. I’m working on my fitness and mental preparation to be ready for this new challenge,” León concluded. “It’s an important year for my career, and I’m committed to being fully prepared.”
