All McLaren Formula 1 employees who remained in Australia following the trip for the Grand Prix are now back in the UK.

It was the confirmation of one team member testing positive for the coronavirus which led to the late cancellation of the race in Melbourne with they, along with 13 others who came into contact with the employee, since observing two weeks of quarantine in Australia as a precaution.

In addition, two senior team members, F1 team boss Andreas Seidl and racing director Andrea Stella, also remained Down Under to support those who stayed behind but have also now travelled home.

“Andreas and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the hard-working men and women in the team for their determination and commitment at this difficult time,” McLaren CEO Zak Brown said earlier this week.
