The two-time Formula 1 world champion suffered a broken jaw after colliding with a car while training near the Swiss city of Lugano last Thursday.
After a successful corrective surgery that evening, Alonso then declared himself “OK and looking forward to getting 2021 underway” on Friday via Twitter.
