As every year, the emerging voices of the Italian music have met the young talents of the Sky Team Racing VR46, who were guests tonight at the final of the popular talent show X Factor.

Nicolò Bulega, Andrea Migno, Francesco Bagnaia and Stefano Manzi were on the stage during the finale of the show to unveil the new liveries of the team as a preview of the 2017 season.

In 2017, the team - founded to support young Italian riders - will continue its growth path in Moto3 and will make its debut in Moto2 with completely new graphics, inspired by the liveries of the early 90s.

A year full of innovations, with Bulega and Migno ready to fight for the top positions in Moto3 with their KTM, and Bagnaia and Manzi ready for their debut in Moto2 with Kalex.

Next season the Sky Racing Team VR46 can also count on the commitment and confidence of new partners, who have embraced the philosophy of the team: get the next generation of Italian champions on the podium. Oakley will be the main partner of the project and it will support both teams - Moto3 and Moto2. Among the official partners, from 2017 Monster Energy will be alongside Dainese and AGV, who have been with the Team since 2014.

Marc and Alex Marquez took part in the Enduro del Segre event on Sunday in Ponts, Lleida, going back to their roots after having started their careers in the discipline when they first got on a bike. After six hours on the bike, both were happy with their performance and the experience – with the reigning MotoGP World Champion stating he’d be more than happy to compete further in the discipline should the opportunity arise.

“I had competed in enduro when I was little and that’s exactly what pushed me to compete in the Enduro del Segre", said Marquez "I’m a big fan of off-road and I wanted to go back to my childhood for a day, with the Moto Club Segre surrounded by my friends. It was a great experience.

“As soon as I started I paid for my inexperience because I got to a control before time and was penalized – so it was already lost. But later I did a great event in general, especially in terms of timing, which was very good. The trial is what cost me the most. In one I broke the engine cover and had to keep putting oil in – real enduro!

“I had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. If the opportunity came up again in the future after the MotoGP season is over – why not do it again?”

2014 Moto3 World Champion Alex Marquez was equally happy with the day, having been convinced to take part by his brother Marc – left with no regrets.

Alex Marquez: “It was a fantastic experience. I enjoyed it and I suffered – moments of everything! The important thing was to finish and we did that. So I’m really happy.”

After some modifications were made during the 2016 Catalan GP following the tragic crash of Luis Salom in Moto2 FP2 on Friday, permanent changes are to be applied to the layout of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for MotoGP.

The new layout has a slightly shorter track length of 4652m, with work set to take place in January.

By requirement of the FIM, layout will be changed in the following ways:

- Use of the F1 layout of Turn 10

- New chicane after Turn 13

This new chicane is BEFORE the chicane used for Formula 1.
