Juan Manuel Correa has been handed a 3 grid place penalty by the race stewards following this afternoon’s qualifying session at the Yas Marina Circuit after being judged to have impeded Kevin Joerg during the session.
The American, who finished the session in a provisional 19th position, will be unable to serve the penalty in full: as such he will start tomorrow’s Race 1 from the pitlane.
