Jerome D’Ambrosio has ended the final practice session in Berlin fastest for Mahindra racing after setting 1.06.723.

The Mahindra car has been steadily improving ever since the restart of the season, with both D’Ambrosio and Alex Lynn making it into SuperPole over the last two races.

Maximilian Gunther ended the session second fastest in the BMW setting a 1.06.832 to be just over a tenth of a second behind D’Ambrosio.

Jean-Eric Vergne was the lead Techeetah driver in third with a 1.06.866 with Sebastien Buemi ending the session in fourth fastest for Nissan.

Nyck De Vries continued his strong form in the Mercedes to finish in fifth place. The Dutch driver was only two tenths off D’Ambosio’s lap time.

Antonio Felix Da Costa ended the session sixth fastest, but the championship leader made an error in the second sector which cost him a chance to end the session fastest which he did in the opening session of the day.

Sergio Sette Camara continued his strong one-lap pace in practice for the Dragon, as he finished the session in seventh place. Lucas Di Grassi was eighth in the Audi with Alexander Sims in ninth in the second BMW.

Stoffel Vandoorne rounded out the top ten in practice with a lap time that was only three-tenths off D’Ambrosio’s effort.
