Antonio Felix Da Costa ended the final practice session in AD Diriayh fastest ahead of qualifying for the second race of the weekend. 

The Portuguese driver went fastest in the final five minutes of the session when all the drivers went for a qualifying run at 250kW, Da Costa set a lap time 1:11.084 which is over three seconds faster than yesterdays pole time. 

Yesterday’s race winner Sam Bird finished in second place and was only 0.022 behind Da Costa’s lap time. Alexander Sims he took pole in yesterday’s event finished the session third fastest with a 1:11.106.  

Oliver Rowland finished fourth in his Nissan ahead of Pascal Wehrlein in his Mahindra who secured fifth. 

Robin Frijns ended the session in sixth place in the second of the Envision Virgin Racing cars ahead of two Audi drivers who would like to improve on yesterdays performance. Daniel Abt was ahead of Lucas Di Grassi in seventh and eighth.  

Maxi Gunther ended the session ninth for BMW with Mitch Evans rounding out the top ten.

There were a few incidents during the session, and the biggest one was when double Formula E champion hit the wall at Turn 16 and broke his rear left suspension.

James Calado and Felipe Massa also hit the walls during the practice session, damaging the front bodywork of their car.
