DAMS Lucas Oil has confirmed Dino Beganovic as Juan Manuel Correa’s replacement for the last two rounds of the 2024 Formula 2 season.

Beganovic steps up to F2 after a strong Formula 3 season where he contended for the championship, finishing sixth with two wins and two additional podiums.

A member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, Beganovic has shown promise throughout his career, winning the 2022 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and excelling in karting.

Now moving to Formula 2 with DAMS, he’ll compete in Lusail for Round 13 and in Yas Marina for the season finale.

“I’m thrilled to debut in Formula 2 with DAMS Lucas Oil, a team with rich history and ambition,” Beganovic stated. “This is a natural progression in my career, and my goal is to learn and score points in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.”

DAMS Lucas Oil Team Owner Charles Pic welcomed Beganovic’s addition, acknowledging the challenge of stepping up from Formula 3 to a highly competitive series.

“Dino has an impressive track record, and we’re confident he’ll be competitive in these final rounds,” Pic said, also expressing gratitude to Correa for his contributions this season and wishing him the best in future endeavors.
