Team DR Formula returns to Formula Regional European Championship.
The squad led by Danilo Rossi, after taking part in the season opener, confirms its commitment in the series for the second consecutive year.
17-year-old Emidio Pesce is the first driver announced for the upcoming season. The young Italian, after a successful karting career made his motorsport debut in 2019 Italian F4 Championship and now is set to step up to the upper category with the team that last year finished as runner-up and claimed the third position in the Drivers’ standings with Brazil’s Igor Fraga, who took a total of four victories.
Even in his maiden Formula Regional European Championship campaing, Pesce is determined to show well and make more experience.
His first on-track appearance with DR Formula is scheduled at the Paul Ricard test, on 4/5 March.
“I think Emidio is a very good product of the Italian karting”, Danilo Rossi commented, “After a sensational season in the Formula Regional, we are confident we will be able to create a good package to do well”.
