Enzo Fittipaldi will be back under the Prema banner for the second straight season in 2018.
The 16-year-old Brazilian will take full advantage of his 2017 experience in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and will approach his second year in the category with a more complex program including the Italian and the German championship.
It won’t be his first time in the ADAC-promoted series for Fittipaldi as he already made an extremely positive debut last year at Nurburgring with a podium finish overall.
In the ACI series, his main 2017 commitment, he grabbed several points finishes overall and put up a brilliant performance in the rookie competition, with two wins achieved en-route to a second place in points.
For him, 2018 will feature a challenging program aimed at making another positive step while remaining under the guidance of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
“We are proud to welcome Enzo back for another year together. He was brilliant in how he faced his first steps in full-time open-wheel racing, and his results were really positive too.” Said team manager
Grazia Troncon
“It will be absolutely interesting to see him line-up for such a busy season and we are sure that, continuing the same progression of 2017, he will become a top contender, highlighting the work done with the team and the Ferrari Driver Academy.”
Fittipaldi added: “”I am very excited for the new season and I am really happy to be working again with a top team like Prema.”
“Last year was a positive one and I am really confident that this year will be one to remember! Really looking forward to the start of the season!”
