Two-time Formula 1 champion Mika Hakkinen believes the coronavirus will prevent Toto Wolff moving to Aston Martin.
The current Mercedes motorsport boss has been linked to a role at the British manufacturer, following an investment by friend and Racing Point owner Lawrence Stroll.
Wolff himself has strenuously denied he's leaving the German manufacturer, with his contract expiring this year, but has also purchased his own shares in Aston Martin, citing it as purely a personal transaction.
However, though Hakkinen thinks there might be something to the Aston rumours, he doesn't expect the Austrian to make the move for now.
“I got into Formula 1 almost 30 years ago and rumours of drivers, teams or engineers have always been around," the Finn, who is also a Mercedes ambassador, told T-online.de.

“I have known Toto for a long time, I appreciate him not only as a person but also for his services to Mercedes and the whole Formula 1.
“He is a great ambassador for our sport.
“I can very well imagine that he is in discussion with a new team like Aston Martin.
“But given the current situation with regard to the 2020 and 2021 seasons, I believe that he is busy enough at Mercedes.”
Wolff has been a part of the Brackley-based team since 2013 and rose to the role of motorsport chief in 2017.
