Racing Point hopes that, under Sebastian Vettel's guidance, they too can become four-time Formula 1 champions in the future.

After Ferrari chose to replace him with Carlos Sainz for 2021, the German found refuge at the Silverstone-based outfit, which will be rebranded as Aston Martin from next season.

And with Vettel's experience combined with the financial clout of Lawrence Stroll behind them, plus the new regulations coming for 2021 and 2022, the team has big ambitions.

“Through him, we will learn that in every detail, no matter how small, there is a chance to improve,” team boss Otmar Szafnauer told Sport Bild.

“We hope he will teach us what we need to do in order to win four Championship titles like him.”

Vettel himself has already promised to dive head-first into his new project when January but, as Szafnauer noted...

“Before that, Sebastian is under contract with Ferrari and we haven’t yet asked if they might release him earlier for us.”
