Red Bull has revealed its 2021 car, the RB16B, in a special shakedown livery on Tuesday.

Last year, the Milton Keynes-based outfit once again found themselves playing second fiddle to Mercedes, although Max Verstappen was able to provide some competition throughout the season.

Red Bull's main issue was the temperamental handling of its car, something that was gradually addressed as the year progressed.

And after claiming victory at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, it is hoped the carryover of key components combined with an upgraded Honda engine will be enough to potentially challenge Mercedes for the title.

It is in that pursuit that Red Bull also welcomes Sergio Perez alongside Verstappen in 2021, with the Mexican taking the seat formerly held by Alex Albon.

Perez claimed his first F1 win at the Sakhir Grand Prix in 2020 en route to fourth in the Drivers' Championship, but was dropped by Racing Point in favour of Sebastian Vettel for the team's rebrand as Aston Martin.

This year though will be Red Bull's final year in partnership with Honda, with the Japanese manufacturer announcing its exit after 2021 last October.

It has since been confirmed the team will take their power units in-house from 2022, this after the other F1 team agreed to a development freeze.
