Hadrien David maintained his recent pace by setting fastest time for R-ace GP in the Formula Regional European Championship collective test 2 at Spa Francorchamps.

The French driver, who was the fastest also in the first session, today improved his performance by setting the best time of 2m15.500s.

Arden Motorsport’s Eduardo Barrichello enjoyed his best session of the week and was second fastest, 0.087s ahead of Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix) who set his best time as the session was about to expire. Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort Racing) was fourth ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto (R-ace GP) who closed the top 5 six tenths off the overall fastest.

Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) and Paul Aron (Prema Racing) wounded up sixth and seventh, while Tim Tramnitz (Trident Motorsport), Laurens Van Hoepen (ART Grand Prix) and Mari Boya (MP Motorsport) rounded out the top 10.

Spotlights were also on Hamda Al Qubaisi (Prema Racing) who set the 13th best time behind championship leader Dino Beganovic, both at the wheel of a Prema Racing single seater.

Axel Gnos (G4 Racing) didn’t finish the test following an off-track exit that caused the only red flag.
