Team Hansen MJP’s Timmy Hansen struck back in Q3 at the Team Verksted World RX of Norway, round five of the FIA World Rallycross Championship with the quickest time.

Hansen took the hole shot in Q3 Race 3 and had a clean run to set the quickest time, fighting back from a difficult day one for the World RX Drivers’ Championship leader. Hansen’s brother and team mate Kevin Hansen took the joker on lap one of the same race and was second quickest, but overnight leader, GRX Taneco’s NIclas Gronholm was P5 in Q3 after losing the lead of Race 4 to his team mate, Russia’s Timur Timerzyanov on the last lap.

Timerzyanov was P3 and Netherlands’ Kevin Abbring was a career best P4 in ESmotorsports Labas-GAS’ Skoda Fabia on his World RX debut. Lithuania’s Rokas Baciuska, on his debut for GCK Academy was P6, finishing just behind Abbring in race 1, and home hero Andreas Bakkerud was P7. The Norwegian took his joker on lap one of Race 4 together with Kevin Hansen and couldn’t pass the Swedish driver. GC Kompetition’s Anton Marklund was P8, Monster Energy RX Cartel’s Liam Doran was P9 and ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport’s Timo Scheider completed the top 10.

In the RX2 International Series, Oliver Eriksson was again quickest in Q3 and Robin Larsson was the best of the FIA European Rallycross Championship for Supercar drivers to move to the top of the Intermediate Classification.
