Ahead of the MotoGP winter break, Honda Team duo Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez are to undergo surgery on their respective injuries.
For Lorenzo, an operation on a fracture in his right foot sustained in Aragon was done on Monday 1st of December.
As for Marquez, surgery on his troublesome left shoulder is to be performed on Tuesday by Dr Mir, with the latest problem coming at the Valencia GP for the seven-time Champion.
A winter of recovery now faces the pairing, with both aiming to be fully fit for MotoGP Sepang Test on 6th, 7th and 8th February.
