McLaren has wasted little time in revealing their new MCL35 at a launch event in Woking on Thursday.

The historic British team heads into 2020 looking to continue the momentum after an impressive season saw them finish at the head of the midfield in fourth in last year's Constructors' Championship.

En route to that result, 2019 also saw McLaren score a first podium in Formula 1 since 2014, after Carlos Sainz, who claimed a remarkable sixth in the Drivers standings, inherited third place in Brazil.

The Spaniard was well backed up by young Brit Lando Norris, who emerged as a fan favourite in his rookie year for his fun-loving approach as well being one of the most active drivers on social media.

On track, poor luck would hide his strong performances at several races but now the 20-year-old can look to push on in his second year on the grid.

Like many teams, McLaren will head into 2020 with one eye already on next year's major rule changes, but repeating their 'best of the rest' result is very much top of the ambitions list.
