Alex Albon is still finding his feet in Formula 1 let alone having now been promoted to Red Bull.
The Thai driver was the least experienced of the three rookies in F1 machinery at the start of 2019, only first stepping into a car at the pre-season test in Barcelona following his late Toro Rosso move.
Having adapted quickly with some good results, he was promoted alongside Max Verstappen at Spa in a whirlwind even he struggled to keep up with.
"Not really, I feel like this whole F1 thing is not really under the table. I’m getting used to it," he said on whether he had settled at Red Bull in F1's Beyond the Grid podcast.

"I’m being rather chucked in the deep end, it feels like, but enjoying it, it all feels like a blur – nothing is feeling real.
"The beginning of the season felt like that and then you kind of get to grips with Formula 1 and feel quite normal about it. You join the circus, but from Thursday to Sunday (at Spa) it did feel very blurry."
Still, a fifth and sixth place in his first two races has been very solid, particularly as he admitted to being a little intimidated at first.
"A little bit. Yes," Albon said. "It’s more of a reminder of what’s happening because when I did get told I’m moving up, I was in Austria and I spoke to my mum and my dad and that’s really it. That’s my group.
"I rested for the whole two weeks on the sofa at home and then I took the flight to Spa and once you arrive at the track, all these cameras hit you and you kind of realise, in a weird way, when you’re at home, you’re in your own little world.
"It’s the other way around when actually F1 is the kind of reality to it."
