Maximilian Gunther takes back to back victories in the Race At Home Challenge in a race that was littered with crashes from start to finish at Formula E's Test Track on rFactor 2.

The BMW driver qualified in second but took the lead at the first chicane after Stoffel Vandoorne who qualified on pole crashed and fell down the order and allowed Gunther to race away.

Pascal Wehrelin was Gunther's main rival in the race and closed the gap down to under four-tenths, but the Mahindra driver also crashed at the Turn 1 chicane and had severe suspension damage and dropped down the order in the final five laps of the race.

There were a number of crashes further down the field which meant that the race elimination process did not actually start until lap 11 when Oliver Rowland was taken out of the race when the elimination process should start after the end of lap 2.

Andre Lotterer was the next front runner to crash out. The Porsche driver was running in third place when he hit the wall on the exit of Turn 1 which took him out of the race.

Daniel Abt, Ma Qing Hua, Sam Bird, Edorado Mortara and Mitch Evans were the other drivers to get it wrong and retire from the race after crashing at Turn 1.

Robin Frijns and Nico Muller were the two drivers who benefitted from the carnage as they come home in second and third over 15 seconds behind Gunther.

Neel Jani came home in fourth for Porsche with Vandoorne finishing in fifth despite doing the whole race with a damaged suspension.

Oliver Turvey finished in sixth with Nyck De Vries who finished seventh after starting at the back of the grid after crashing out in qualifying.

James Calado came home in eighth ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne in ninth and Wehrlein ended the race in tenth.
