Oliver Rowland has secured his and Nissan's first win of the season in Berlin as the Brit moves up into second the drivers' championship. 

The Brit drove a commanding race and saw off the attack from Ronin Frijns behind to secure the victory. Robin Frijns finished in second place. The Dutch driver tried to use Attack Mode to undercut the Rowland and the Virgin Racing driver nearly made it worked but Rowland just did enough to cover off Frijins. 

Rene Rast came home in third place in his fifth race for Audi. The German driver had to coast over the line after an intense battle with Andre Lotterer. Lotterer was in third place after using Attack Mode to fight through the field from seventh to get up to third, but the Porsche driver was low on energy on the final lap, which allowed Rast to attack him. 

Rast tried an audacious move into Turn 10, which didn't work, but the two drivers bumped into each other which carried on into Turn 15, which is were Rast finally got the move done to secure his first podium in Formula E. 

Lotterer came home in fourth in front of Alex Lynn in the Mahindra. Neel Jani scored his first points of the season in sixth for Porsche. Mitch Evans came home in seventh or Jaguar. 

Edorado Mortara had a lonely race in eighth for Venturi with Stoffel Vandoorne finishing in ninth for Mercedes after starting in 18th place. Sebastien Buemi was the only driver from the four champions who didn't set a lap in qualify to score a point in tenth. 

Lucas Di Grassi and Jean-Eric Vergne had a terrible race as Di Grassi suffered a right rear puncture as well as receiving a five-second time penalty for causing a collision. 

Vergne was given a drive-through penalty after his team cooled his battery too much which destroyed his race. Formula E Champion Antonio Felix Da Costa failed to finish after stopping with one lap to go. 

Maximilian Gunther and Daniel Abt were the two other retirements.
