Kimi Raikkonen will take no further part in this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix after testing positive for Covid-19 on Saturday.

The Finn becomes the first driver to miss a race this season due to the virus, and will be replaced by Alfa Romeo reserve driver Robert Kubica.

In a statement, Alfa confirmed Raikkonen is asymptomatic and in good spirits but is now in isolation at his hotel.

And following a sweep of possible close contacts, the team is also confident that no further personnel will have to enter isolation this weekend.

This comes on the same week Raikkonen announced his retirement from F1 at the end of 2021, and hopefully, the ‘Iceman’ will be back on track as soon as possible.
