MotoGP will be racing at Losail International Circuit in Qatar until at least 2031, as it was officially confirmed.

Previously signed up until 2026, a new five-year contract extension ensures the Qatari venue will continue to welcome the world’s fastest motorcycle racing Championship for many years to come.

The Grand Prix of Qatar debuted on the calendar in 2004 and then became the sport’s first ever night race in 2008. More than a decade later the spectacular in the desert only continues going from strength to strength in unique, floodlit style – as it will until at least 2031.

Tune in for the 2019 VisitQatar Grand Prix this weekend, with the MotoGP race getting underway at 20:00 (GMT+3) local time on Sunday 10th March.
