In a show of solidarity with the flood-ravaged Valencia region, MotoGP has announced that the 2024 season-ending Grand Prix will be relocated to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The event will take place on the original scheduled dates of November 15th to 17th.
The decision to move the race from Valencia was made in light of the devastating floods that have impacted the region. MotoGP aims to maintain the excitement and prestige of the season finale while also supporting the affected community.
Barcelona was chosen as the most suitable alternative venue, offering logistical advantages and a familiar track for fans and teams. The event will be organized by MotoGP™, with a portion of the proceeds dedicated to relief efforts in Valencia.
More details regarding ticket sales and additional initiatives to support the flood-stricken region will be announced in the coming days.
