Gianluca Petecof tries to regain confidence in the lead in the official tests at the Monza circuit where he was the fastest of the day, on a circuit that remained dry despite the changing weather conditions.

With 1: 46.907 in the fourth and final session of the day, the Brazilian beat his teammates Oliver Rasmussen by 41 thousandths, and Arthur Leclerc, championship leader after the masterful test in Mugello, by 68 thousandths.

Pierre-Louis Chovet, of Van Amersfoort RAcing, also did very well, just 147 thousandths from the leader. Among other things, it should be noted that the three behind Petecof achieved the best time in the second session of the day.

However, the drivers are very close up to the seventh position, where Alessandro Famularo (Van Amersfoort Racing) is only 0.263 seconds from the best time of the day.

In front of the Venezuelan driver, the pair of KIC Motorsport, with Konsta Lappalainen sixth with a time of 1: 47.166 and Patrick Pasma who lapped in 1: 47.163.

The weapons are therefore sharpened for this weekend in the Monza temple of speed for the fifth of the eight rounds of the 2020 championship
