Intercontinental GT Challenge will feature a record-breaking nine full-season manufacturers in 2020 after Ferrari reconfirmed its commitment to the world’s only global GT3 series ahead of this weekend’s season opener at Bathurst.

HubAuto Corsa has again lodged a single full-season entry endorsed by Maranello, while the Italian marque’s other customer teams can be nominated to score points at each of the remaining four rounds on as many continents.

HubAuto claimed Ferrari’s second-ever Intercontinental victory at the California 8 Hours in March, while the likes of AF Corse, CarGuy Racing and Kessel Racing also represented the manufacturer around the world in 2019.

The 488 GT3 will go up against existing #IntGTC rivals Audi, Bentley, BMW, Honda, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, as well as championship newcomers Aston Martin and Lamborghini, at the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour this weekend. McLaren and Nissan are also amongst the 33-strong entry assembled for Australia’s International Enduro at Mount Panorama.

Fans outside of Australia and New Zealand can watch practice, qualifying, Pole Shootout and the race live this Saturday and Sunday on the championship’s website and Facebook page as well as SRO’s GT World Youtube channel, while Fox Sports, 7Mate and Fox Sports NZ will broadcast live coverage across the region.
