Formula E is reportedly set to hold evening mid-week races as it steps up plans for the return of racing in early August.
According to The Race, Formula E is planning to hold six races at the Tempelhof airfield circuit in Berlin across an eight-day period, with three different layouts set to be used.
The reports states that plans for the festival of racing in Berlin are firm, while negotiations for a season finale in Seoul are ongoing.
The 2019-20 Formula E season has completed just five races so far, which leaves them significantly short of their planned 14-race calendar.
Provisional dates for the races in Berlin suggest the series will hold back-to-back midweek races on 5 and 6 August, before two races on the weekend of the 8 and 9 August and then rounding out with another midweek double-header on 12 and 13 August.
These dates will need to be confirmed at a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council next Friday.
Formula E is set to take over the Tempelhof airfield next month and begin constructing the circuit under social distancing measures.
