Lucas Di Grassi has given Audi hope of a better race day after finishing fastest in practice.

The season four champion set a 1.06.732 in Formula E's only practice session ahead of the second race of six later today.

Andre Lotterer in the Porsche finished the session in second, just 0.009 of a second behind Di Grassi. Maximilian Gunther had a better session for BMW in third. The German driver set a 1.06.749.

Mitch Evans will be looking to repeat his lap fourth place lap in qualifying later, as he looks to take points away from championship leader Antonio Felix Da Costa in the race today. The Jaguar driver set a 1.06.772

Alexander Sims in the second BMW was fifth fastest, with championship leader Da Costa in sixth place setting a time 1.06.821. Sergio Sette Camara had a strong lap to finish the session in seventh place for Dragon Racing.

Reigning champion Jean-Eric Vergne finished the session in eighth, with Oliver Rowland in ninth and Stoffel Vandoorne rounding out the top ten.
