Ex-Formula 1 driver Timo Glock claims Sebastian Vettel and Mattia Binotto could leave Ferrari due to their settlement with the FIA.
The Scuderia and the governing body have come under fire from all teams without ties to the team over a private agreement reached following a technical investigation into their engine from last year.
Publicly, after a statement calling for transparency, the FIA has said the settlement was made because they could not conclusively determine if the engine was illegal, with Ferrari believed to have tricked the sensors that police the 100kg per hour fuel flow limit.

But with the fallout set to continue into the start of the season, Glock believes the outcome could have big implications for Vettel, who is out of contract after this year.
“I could imagine that it could be a reason for him to say ‘that’s it’ [and leave],” he told Germany’s ran.de.
As for where the four-time could go…
“Maybe McLaren,” Glock replied. “With Andreas Seidl, they have a German boss with whom they’re only going up lately. I can imagine he would certainly like to have an experienced German on the team.”
But while the driver turned pundit thinks Vettel could walk, in the case of Binotto, Glock thinks he may have to take the fall, despite only being team boss for just over a year.
“As is the way in this business, the one who is responsible has to take off his hat and go,” he said.
“Because he knew exactly what was going on and would have to live with the consequences if something happens.”
