The 2025 MotoGP World Championship kicks off in Buriram, Thailand, from February 28 to March 2.
Afterward, MotoGP heads to South America for Argentina, the first of three new or returning events for 2025, joining Brno and Balaton Park on the calendar.
India’s debut is delayed until 2026, but it holds a reserve status for 2025, while plans for a race in Kazakhstan have been abandoned after multiple failed attempts at the Sokol International Racetrack.
A summer break will occur from mid-July after Brno until mid-August with the Red Bull Ring.
The revised late-season “flyaway” schedule pairs Indonesia with Japan, and Australia with Malaysia, with a one-week gap in between.
The season will wrap up with the penultimate round in Portimao, followed by the traditional Valencia finale in mid-November.
To the relief of many, there are no triple-header weekends planned.
If all 22 rounds proceed, it will mark the largest season in MotoGP history, surpassing the previous three years of 20-round calendars.
However, Brno and Portimao are still pending contracts, and Balaton Park’s participation depends on successful homologation.
