Slavica Radic-Ecclestone isn't interested in selling French Grand Prix venue Paul Ricard despite offers, the circuit CEO claims.

The ex-wife of former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone gained the venue, including the track, two hotels and neighbouring airport, when she divorced from the billionaire in 2009.

This week, however, it was reported Radic-Ecclestone wanted to sell the facility which has likely ballooned in value since Bernie bought it for 20m Euros in 1999.

“Like all fine products or companies, there is an appetite for the Paul Ricard circuit,” CEO Stephane Clair told F1Only.fr.

“But contrary to what was written by a journalist, Slavica does not want to sell. It is not her objective."

Clair though did hint Radic-Ecclestone could change her mind though if the deal was right.

“On the other hand, there are many offers which are being analysed. These are interesting moments for us, because it is a moment to take stock and realise the great things we have," he commented.

“It also allows us to see everything that can be improved because investors are aware of the history of such a legendary circuit, but they wonder what is the development capacity.

“We receive offers, but if none of them goes to the end, there will be no sale, either this year or next year.”

This week it was revealed Paul Ricard could undergo changes with a redesign of the first sector to encourage better racing after two relatively poor French GP's since returning to the calendar in 2018.

That would also coincide with what is the 50th anniversary of the circuit's opening back in 1970 this April.
