A potential chassis name for the new Ferrari Formula 1 car has been rumoured ahead of its launch on Tuesday.
During the off-season, the much-speculated 2020 Prancing Horse has been developed under the code name of Project 671 at Maranello.
But when the covers come off at the Romolo Valli Municipal Theatre in Reggio Emilia, it is claimed the SF1000 will be revealed, referring to the 1000th F1 race Ferrari will enter in during this upcoming season.
That particular milestone will come either in Monaco or Canada depending on the Chinese Grand Prix, which looks set to be cancelled due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.

Impressively, it means Ferrari will have also entered 1000 of 1025 total F1 races since the world championship began back in 1950.
To put that achievement into further context, McLaren is the next closest team with 867 races and Williams sit third with 720 Grand Prix entries.
The SF1000 will follow the SF90 from 2019, another commemorative name on the 90th anniversary of Enzo Ferrari producing his first car in 1929.
For the Scuderia's sake, however, let's hope this car is a little more competitive and successful than last year.
