Lewis Hamilton will race for Mercedes at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after recovering from Covid-19.
The seven-time world champion missed his first race since debuting in Formula 1 in 2007 last weekend in Bahrain, after reportedly coming into contact with the coronavirus during a trip to Dubai.
On Wednesday, Hamilton completed the mandatory 10-day quarantine period and, after testing negative for Covid both before departing Bahrain and arriving in Abu Dhabi, the Briton was cleared to return to the track on Friday.

This means George Russell, who replaced Hamilton last weekend and conducted media duties for Mercedes on Thursday, will now return to Williams, while Jack Aitken will reassume his role as reserve driver.
Prior to his enforced absence, Hamilton had won five straight races, including wrapping up his historic seventh F1 title in Turkey.
And now he'll get the chance to end the year on a high at Yas Marina, a circuit where Mercedes hasn't lost since 2013 and Hamilton has only won five times in his career.
