Sebastian Vettel will miss the Bahrain Grand Prix after testing positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, Aston Martin has confirmed.
The German is the second driver to test positive in just six days after McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, who was absent from the entire pre-season test also in Bahrain last week but has since recovered.
Reserve and development driver Nico Hulkenberg will stand in as his replacement.

The mandatory isolation period also raised questions over Vettel's participation at the Saudi Arabian GP next weekend.
