Red Bull expects a "harder" challenge from Ferrari during this weekend's Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit enjoyed one of their most dominant races ever in Belgium as Max Verstappen flew from 14th on the grid to victory ahead of teammate Sergio Perez.

But where the long straights and high-speed turns at Spa are tailor-made for Red Bull's RB18, the home hero predicts the twisty nature of Zandvoort will bring the Scuderia back into play.

"After the successful weekend we’ve had in Spa, I’m really looking forward to the Dutch GP," Verstappen, who won the first race in the Netherlands since 1985 last year, said in a race preview.

"There’s a lot more downforce required at the track in Zandvoort so it will be harder for us to be dominant, I expect Ferrari to be strong there.

"I, of course, want a good result but it's important to always score points, let's hope we can do a good job," he added.

"It will be great to have my family there supporting me, I’m just going to enjoy the weekend with all the fans, it’s going to be pretty crazy."

Perez echoed Verstappen believing Red Bull shouldn't expect a repeat of a week ago.

“I think they [Ferrari] will be back strong in Zandvoort,” he told Sky Sports.

“As you know this is a very unique place with a lot of straights around this place, where we are gaining a lot of lap time on them. So Zandvoort will be quite different.”
